Buddy Hike - Tilden Park!

Brrrrrr! is the only word needed to describe last week's hike. Cold, wet, windy, foggy -- it was down right miserable outside. But our small but mighty group of hikers met the trail with smiles on our faces and many, many layers of clothing on our bodies.

Our 4 hour hike went through the local Tilden Regional Park. Hiking with only 4 other people was refreshing and gave me a chance to spend time with and get to know other team members that I normally wouldn't have the chance to hike with: like Liz and Melody!


The views on the particular trails we went on are supposed to be just breath taking! Unfortunately, the fog was crazy and we didn't see much except for what was about 20 feet in front of us.
We stopped to pick black berries along the way and even headed down to the famous Steam Trains, but due to time constraints we headed back without riding them.

The fog started to clear a little by the end of our hike and I was able to take this picture:
